The whole thing takes less than five minutes. At times it is good to call in addition to or in place of the fax so here are the Washington numbers. Unless you know a local office staff person it is a waste of time to call there as they generally are not that familiar with the issue and they may or may not relay your message to the Washington office. When you do call just tell the person who answers the phone what the issue is and how and why you want the Senator or Congressman to vote a certain way.
