Email List for VSP
VSP has two different email lists to help keep you informed about what is going on with the sustainable population movement in Vermont. One list is for general information about population activities. This email is sent out about once a week and is called the VSP Update. It is managed through Google Groups.

The other list is specifically about the immigration factor in sustainable population and messages are sent only every couple of weeks or so. We want to be very clear that we are not racists and not against reasonable levels of immigration. However the U.S. population has already exceeded its carrying capacity and if we are going to achieve a sustainable population we must begin to invite into this country no more people on an annual basis than leave the country, which is estimated at about 250,000 per year. To learn more about our position on immigration go to the immigration policy in our Policy and Position Statement section. To subscribe to this list send an email to:

There is another list that originates in Vermont and is administered by another organization. This daily email is sent out by Bill Ryerson of the Population Media Center based in Shelburne. This email consists of commentaries and articles about population written by people from all over the world. They are well written, very informative, and we highly recommend that you receive them. To do so email: Ryerson@populaltionmedia.org and ask him to include you.
